About Me
My name is Jafar Pourmojib, also known as Fiachehr. This is a personal narrative — a reflection of my life journey, shaped by curiosity, responsibility, and a long-standing relationship with technology.
Roots and Early Life
I was born in January 1982 in Lahijan, one of the most beautiful and green cities in northern Iran, near the Caspian Sea. Although my birthplace was calm and close to nature, my entire life unfolded in Tehran, a city defined by intensity, movement, and constant change.
Childhood, Games, and the First Spark
My relationship with computers didn’t begin in a classroom — it began with games. From the age of seven, I was fascinated by computer and video games. It started with Atari, and later expanded to other consoles like Nintendo and Sega.
Even today, games remain part of my life. Not just as entertainment, but as something familiar and meaningful. Looking back, it’s clear that this early fascination played a major role in shaping my interest in computers and technology as a whole.
My First Computer and Learning to Code
In 1996, I bought my first personal computer — a 486 DX5 with 4 MB of RAM and a 560 MB hard drive. At the time, it felt like owning a small universe.
I started programming almost immediately, using the BASIC programming language. Writing simple programs and seeing the computer respond to my logic was a turning point. It transformed my relationship with technology from user to creator.
The Internet Era and Web Development
As the internet became more widespread, my interest shifted strongly toward web-based programming. The idea that software could live online, reach people instantly, and constantly evolve fascinated me.
To build a solid foundation, I enrolled in Tehran Institute of Technology, where I completed the CIW Web Design program. That experience formalized what had already become a serious passion.
Education and Professional Direction
I later studied Information Technology Engineering and earned my degree from the University of Tehran. My academic path reinforced my practical experience and helped me develop a structured way of thinking about systems, software, and problem-solving.
Marriage, Immigration, and Change
I got married at the age of 28. Years later, when our son turned six, my wife and I decided to begin a new chapter outside our home country.
Leaving Iran meant leaving familiarity, language, and long-established routines. We chose uncertainty in exchange for possibility and growth, starting our journey together as a small family.
A Transitional Chapter in Turkey
Our first stop was Alanya, Turkey, where we lived for about nine months, just 500 meters from the Mediterranean Sea.
During this time, I was actively searching for work and preparing for the next step. It was a period of patience, adjustment, and quiet persistence.
Germany and the Present Chapter
Eventually, I found a job opportunity in Germany, and in 2022, we moved to Dresden, which has been our home ever since.
Today, I work as a software engineer and programming instructor. I continue to learn, build, and adapt — both professionally and personally — while focusing on stability, growth, and responsibility.
